Well, I think, I think, whether you choose to go with a midwife or an OBGYN, there should be more maternal healthcare after the baby’s born. The number one thing I think that needs to change is more healthcare after more maternal healthcare after the baby comes one appointment six weeks later, to check your stitches is just not enough
Like when I went for that six week appointment with my OBGYN, he’s like, ‘so how are you doing?’ I said, oh, I’m not doing great. Here’s all these things that happened’. He was so he was like, really surprised. And it’s not his fault. But it shouldn’t be a surprise, there should be these conversations and this happening after you have your baby.
